FINIAL SCRIPT
FADE IN:
EXT. SUBURBAN HOME/BEDROOM - DUSK 1
OPENING SHOT is a top-down view of the main character sleeping. The morning light shines through the window, then his alarm goes off. As the alarm goes off we slowly dolly into the character waking up.
CUT TO:
INT. BEDROOM - DUSK 2
CLOSE-UP SHOT of the Iphone alarm going off, then the main character turning off the alarm.
CUT TO:
INT. BEDROOM - DUSK 3
MID SHOT of the main character sitting up and looking directly into the camera. The main character takes a deep breath and stands. The camera stays put as the main character walks past it and exits the bedroom.
CUT TO:
INT. BATHROOM - DUSK 4
MID SHOT of the main character brushing his teeth. The camera will be looking at the mirror to see the character brushing his teeth. The character will look at the mirror while brushing his teeth, then rinse his mouth and exit the bathroom.
CUT TO:
INT. OUTSIDE/FRONT DOOR - DUSK 5
LONG SHOT the character leaves the house. He closes the front door, looks at the camera, and takes a deep breath. The main character then walks past the camera.
CUT TO:
INT. OUTSIDE - MORNING 6
LONG SHOT, of the main character walking out of his house and on to the side walk.
CUT TO:
INT. OUTSIDE - MORNING 7
LONG SHOT of young lady walking down the sidewalk. She's important because she will be the first indicator of the main character being stuck in a cycle. The lady will then say hi to the main character. This character will be used in later scenes.
CUT TO:
INT. OUTSIDE - MORNING 8
CLOSE UP of the main character saying "Don't talk to me"
FADE TO:
INT. SCHOOL - AFTERNOON 9
CLOSE UP of all the main character's school work.
CUT TO:
INT SCHOOL - AFTERNOON 10
MID SHOT, the camera will rise vertically showing the main character stressed from all of his work.
CUT TO:
INT SCHOOL/CLASSROOM - AFTERNOON 11
LONG SHOT of main character being overwhelmed and upset. He then will get up from class and storm out of the class.
CUT TO:
INT SCHOOL/CLASSROOM - AFTERNOON 12
MID SHOT, camera will be looking through small window on the door of the main character leaving the classroom.
FADE TO:
INT SUBURBAN HOME/FRONT DOOR - AFTERNOON 13
MID SHOT of the main character storming into the house upset about school. Main character will say "I hate school!" then slam the front door.
CUT TO:
INT SUBURBAN HOME/FRONT DOOR - AFTERNOON 14
CUT TO:
INT SUBURBAN HOME/FRONT DOOR - AFTERNOON 15
LONG SHOT of the main character storming into the bedroom and laying down upset. The main character will end up falling upset.
CUT TO:
INT SUBURBAN HOME/FRONT DOOR - AFTERNOON 16
MID SHOT, main character wakes up from his alarm and then turns it off.
CUT TO:
INT SUBURBAN HOME/FRONT DOOR - AFTERNOON 17
MID SHOT, once the main character turns of his alarm he sits up, looks at his phone and realizes he is late for school.
CUT TO:
INT. OUTSIDE - AFTERNOON 18
LONG SHOT of main character walking in front of his house and headed to school.
CUT TO:
INT. OUTSIDE - AFTERNOON 19
LONG SHOT, we see the young lady walking down the sidewalk again. I will just reuse the same clip to save time and won't have to worry about the actor acting exactly the same.
CUT TO:
INT. OUTSIDE - AFTERNOON 20
CLOSE UP. The main character begins to an apologize for what he said to the lady the other day.
CUT TO:
INT. OUTSIDE - AFTERNOON 21
CLOSE UP of the young lady explaining that she doesn't know what the main character is talking about.
CUT TO:
INT. OUTSIDE - AFTERNOON 22
CLOSE UP of the main character being confused because he knows he was rude to her.
CUT TO:
INT. OUTSIDE - AFTERNOON 23
CLOSE UP. The young lady tells him sorry has no idea what he is talking about and tells the main character that he should get to school.
CUT TO:
INT. OUTSIDE - AFTERNOON 24
LONG SHOT. The main character says "That's weird" then continues to walk to school. This is also the last short and where the title of the movie will appear.
