TRANSITIONS THAT I LOVE
One of my goals for my project was to have good-looking transitions. I wanted my shots to flow into one another. One transition I am really happy with is at the beginning of the film. Once the character turns off the alarm he reaches for the light and then it perfectly cuts to him turning the light on and getting up. This transition allows the viewers to better understand the character's morning routine while keeping them engaged in the story.
The second transition is my favorite so far. The main character walks out of his room and walks past the camera. I then cut it to another shot where the actor walks past the camera again, I cut it perfectly so that it looks like it was filmed in one take. These cuts make the film flow in a way where it allows the audience to feel immersed in the plot.
