 TROUBLES WITH FIRST HALF FLIM

The video above is the first minute of my short film. The most difficult part of filming was getting the lighting just right. Getting the lighting bright enough to see the environment was difficult because I was trying to make it look like early dusk. This was challenging because most of the lights in my house are bright. Using natural lighting from the windows helped me capture this early morning feel to the scenes.

Overall I'm happy with how the shots look and the feel of the film so far. My big concern with the film is that the camera quality is not as sharp as I thought it was. The display on the camera looks good to me, but once I started editing it on my laptop it became very clear to me that the quality is not the best. While filming I used a tripod to hold up my camera, which made it easier and harder to film. Getting the tripod level and moving it around the set was extremely annoying. I felt limited in my camera placement with the use of the tripod.
