The mirror shot I would like to create will be like the clip from 'Better Call Saul'. I got my inspiration from this clip because of the lighting and the emotions you see from the actors. I believe this shot will give my short film a unique angle and give a better visual representation of the main characters day to day lifestyle. I'm not going to use any lights during the shot. I think the light from the bathroom window will be enough to light the scene and give the perfect early morning feeling. I'm going to expert with a few different angles and placement of the camera. Having different angles and camera placement of the character brushing his teeth will make editing and final edits easier to create because I will have multiple shots to work with.
I'm going to have multiple shots of the main character walking around his house getting ready. I will position the camera to get different angles of the character getting ready for school. I would like to have the first 30 seconds of my film being the main character getting ready, 10 seconds will be of him in the car and then, the last minute will be of him in school and him waking up on the same day.
