 INITIAL PLANNING

There will be two filming locations for my project, one of them being in my house. I won't need permission from anyone but the only downside is I need it to be an overcast. I want the shoot of the main character getting into his car to have a sad and exhausted feel to it. Having the scene shot during overcast will set this mood for the audience and give them a closer connection to the main character. The second location I will be shooting at is Hudson High School, because I attend the high school I know my way around and have a few shoots planned to film there. I would need to get permission from my teacher to film in class and get permission from the students to be extras. I would like to have an over-the-shoulder shot/ dolly-in shot of my teacher giving a lesson, then asking the main character if he is okay and paying attention. Some particle problems I may have with the school location are the limited amount of time to film and the bell.

As mentioned in a previous post I plan on having a shot of the main character sleeping in their bed The shot will be used for the opening shot of the main character waking up to their alarm. I'm going to use a ladder to get a higher view of the character.  Here is a short clip of a sample shot of what the shot might look like in the final product.

The other shot I will use in my short film is when the character first gets into the car. The sample shot shown below is how I want the shot to look. It will be framed better and zoomed in more toward the main character's face through the windshield.
