 CAMERA USAGE

    
    The camera I will be using to film my short film has been undecided. I have two cameras in mind that I would like to use. One of them is my iPhone XR, I have used my phone multiple times to film and make short clips. When I use the iPhone it is easier to take the footage it uploads it to the editing program iMovie. The downside to using the XR is the sound and camera quality are not as crisp. The upside to the XR is that it's small, lightweight, and cheaper to buy a gimbal. The other camera I might use is the Nikon d5500. The Nikion has a higher camera and sound quality. The downside is that it's heavier and uploading the footage to iMovie will take longer. The upside is that I have a tripod for the camera, has long battery life, and has more storage. Eventually, I will come to a decision on which camera I will use.

    I wish I could use VFX for my film, but sadly I'm not experienced or educated enough to attempt to add VFX shot to my film. I'm not sure where I would use them within my story, but I know VFX shots are such a big factor in many movies nowadays. If had more education on the subject I would add a VFX shot to the film even if it doesn't look the best I'm sure everyone would understand that I'm still learning and trying to figure out the best way to use VFX.
