 PLANNING OF PRODUCTION

    The writing of my script has been an interesting process. When it comes to writing a script I'm not the best. . I have had to rewrite my script a few times because it just didn't make sense and my grammar wasn't the best. I want to make the story rich and emotional. Having friends proofread my script has helped me with writing it, but I'm still not done with my script. I'm about 3/4 done with my script and after I will have someone proofread it.

Costumes and Props

    I've started looking at costumes for my actor. I plan on just using the clothes I have in my house but if there are certain clothes I need, then I will go and buy them for the film. When it comes to props for my film I think I have everything I need. I will be using school supplies, my phone, my book bag, and other day-to-day objects to further immerse the viewers. 

Actors and Staff

    I have a rough idea of who my actors, actress, and my assistants are going to be. The main character of the story will be Makhia Pearce (me). I will be the director and I will be framing and reframing the camera. My production designer will be Valeria Revilla, she has taken AICE Media Studies in the past and will be a great help for filming my project. I will need quite a few extras because I want to have students in the background. I plan on asking some classmates if they would like to be extra for my short film. 

    The planning of my short film still isn't 100% complete, there is still a lot to do. Finishing the script, costumes, and finding actors are all very important factors in my film which is why I'm taking my time to make sure that it is perfect.
